THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP

You'd be surprised how many things you can do to help older youth find permanent families.  Review the information below for a few ideas.

Host a house party or other fundraising event.

Attend Ampersand orientation
    to learn about adopting a teen.

Make a contribution by clicking the Donate Now button.

Volunteer your time- some of our needs can be found by
    checking our Volunteer Needs section.

Periodically check our Wish List online– gift cards figure 
    prominently, because productive work with teens requires
    food, and getting there uses lots of gas.

Connect us with someone you know in corporate giving.

Send friends who might be prospective families our way.

Host an information session at your work or place of
    worship to raise awareness of this issue.  We have youth  
    and parents available to speak to your group.

Rental car and hotel deals for in-state travel.

Talk to your legislator about ways to increase
    support for teen adoption.

Do you work in media or know someone who can help raise
    awareness that teens need families?

Help coordinate sites statewide for Heart Gallery
    photography exhibits

Help coordinate sites statewide for Heart Gallery
    photography exhibits.

Connect us with a printer that will do pro bono large
    format photo printing.

Go through our training so you can provide respite for a
    youth, or become a support family for an ‘aged out’ youth.
