The American RadioWorks' documentary “Wanted: Parents” has won the 2008 Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism for outstanding coverage of children and families. "Wanted: Parents" aired on Minnesota Public Radio in November 2007 and features Jen Braun's work with a sibling group of two, Chris and Amanda, who are looking for a family before they age out of the foster care system.

"Wanted: Parents" merited the Annie E. Casey Medal for "masterfully reported, compelling stories that cut through compassion fatigue on socially significant topics; demonstrated enterprise and thorough research; and showed evidence of impact." The documentary was produced by Catherine Winter and Ellen Guettler of American RadioWorks, and broadcast on National Public Radio stations across the country.
