Kait Nolte, (She/Her), 30 Days to Family Specialist

Kait joined Ampersand Families in 2021 after she earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of St. Thomas. She brings experience supporting individuals and families at the intersection of legal services, child protection, and trauma-informed care.

Kait is passionate about accessible mental health services and is currently working toward her clinical licensure as an independent social worker (LICSW), with a particular interest trauma-informed care, attachment, and mind-body centered healing. In all areas of her work, Kait believes that individuals and families are the experts in their lives and strives to uphold their agency as decision makers while navigating complex systems. She is incredibly honored to be working with an organization who shares similar values and is dedicated to promoting healing and equity while advocating for systemic change.

Kait’s favorite place to be is outdoors or with her dog- ideally both! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, board games (though she is quite competitive), tennis, and finding new ways to implement sustainability and environmentally friendly practices into her life.
