Meet Brandon

Brandon (17) is a rather quiet and reserved young man, but if you can get him talking about his interests or thoughts on a fun topic, he really does have some brilliant and hilarious insights. Brandon is sarcastic and thoughtful and really likes to approach a situation with logic and sense. Brandon enjoys video games and chat rooms where he has made some great digital friends. He does well with math in school and likes to stay active taking walks and spending time outside. Brandon recently had a job, and although this one wasn’t a great fit, he has a wonderful work ethic and would like to find another one soon!

Brandon loves his independence and making his own decisions. Brandon expresses that the right home for him would be in a city setting versus a rural area, allow him to continue playing video games, and let him work and get his drivers license. Brandon has great goals and woud like to attend college or a trade program someday. He is motivated and independent. Everyone would benefit from getting to know Brandon!

A Family for Brandon

“The right family for Brandon would have patience and let him build relationships on his own time. Forcing Brandon to talk or work through something doesn’t always work for him (and honestly he figures out a lot of things on his own time without prompts or conversation). A family that can help Brandon navigate adulthood and meet his goals for his education and future is really important! Brandon would benefit from one-on-one attention and an active family that can expose him to new interests and experiences.

Brandon would do fine as the only child or with other youth in the home. He is honest that younger kids do annoy him though. Brandon is not religious, identifying as athiest, and would not do well in a very religious setting. Brandon likes pets, movies, and video games. A family that can relate to him and his interests would be wonderful!”

Our Vision

That every young person whose life has been disrupted by trauma and subsequent child welfare intervention will be restored to a safe, permanent family with an urgency that honors the brevity of childhood.
