Izaich is a cool, creative, and car-ing kid. He likes to play basket-ball and make art. He loves reading graphic novels, or watching movies about superheroes. He can be pretty quiet at first, but opens up when adults approach him gently and positively. Izaich loves ani-mals and says he would enjoy living on a farm.
Izaich will need a family that can support his connection to his siblings. He is still learning how to be safe when he has big feelings and will need a family that can help him learn healthy coping skills, and be patient and compassionate while he builds on his skills. Izaich benefits from 1:1 attention, and for this reason it would be best for him to be the only or youngest child in the home. Izaich is open to all family configurations, and is really excited about the prospect of adoption. He is really motivat-ed by relationships and builds strong connections to the adults in his life. Izaich needs parents that can help him feel safe, understood, and help him come out of his shell, so that he can fully see the wonderful kid he is!
That every young person whose life has been disrupted by trauma and subsequent child welfare intervention will be restored to a safe, permanent family with an urgency that honors the brevity of childhood.
