Jonathan can usually be caught wearing a big smile on his face. He really enjoys meeting new people and wants them to know all of the cool and interesting things that he’s got going on. Jonathan is very athletic, he has a nice jump-shot, and he even knows his way around a skateboard. Currently he is in a bowling club and makes it to the lanes almost every Friday. Jonathan has stated that he wants to be an auto mechanic when he gets older. Until then, he’s content with his part-time job, but on occasion he will jokingly shout, “money is my motivation!” Jonathan has an awesome sense of humor and enjoys interacting with peers and adults. He loves animals and grew up in a family that raised three tiny dogs. His teachers report that he is a hard worker and a good student. Jonathan is a good reader and has always loved to read. With each passing day Jonathan is maturing and becoming an increasingly independent young adult.
THE RIGHT FAMILY FOR JONATHAN
The right family for Jonathan will have a great sense of humor and enjoy spending time together. Jonathan truly appreciates family time and looks forward to family occasions like birthday parties, holidays, and vacations. Jonathan does need a lot of supervision when he is out in the community, but he is working hard at becoming more independent. The right family will help Jonathan develop independent living skills and life skills. Jonathan has lived in the twin cities metro area all of his life, but he is open to moving outside the metro area. Jonathan would like to stay in contact with his brother.
