Sennai is an artistic, creative and athletic teen who is very determined and full of energy. She can appear reserved at first, but once you get to know her, she is outgoing and talkative and can be quite opinionated at times. Sennai is very curious and enjoys learning. She is also very sweet, social and funny. Sennai enjoys being outdoors, cooking, reading, swimming and watching tv. She loves animals and would like to have a pet. When Sennai grows up, she would like to work with animals or become a chef.

Sennai needs parent(s) who are willing to work with and love her through her ups and downs and have experience with children who have experienced a lot of trauma. The family would need to have an understanding of her mental health needs and barriers associated with this, as well as, parenting strategies around these barriers. Sennai would thrive in a small family setting that is structured and consistent. She would do best with a two parent family with older or no children, as it would be very beneficial to her mental health and behavioral needs. With patience, encouragement, and nurturance, Sennai is capable of thriving with a prospective family.

Our Vision

That every young person whose life has been disrupted by trauma and subsequent child welfare intervention will be restored to a safe, permanent family with an urgency that honors the brevity of childhood.
