John joined the Ampersand Families board in April of 2021.
More About John Kunelius
He currently serves the Norwich University Applied Research Institutes (NUARI), a non- profit affiliated with the oldest Senior Military College in the US, Norwich University. John works remotely for NUARI and currently resides in Central Minnesota. John’s is serving on the board to fully support the Ampersand Families strategic plan and deliverables to help build a brighter future for its employees and the people they serve.
Providing a secure, safe, and encouraging family environment for youth in the child welfare system is a right, and Ampersand’s work not only impacts its youth and families, it remains a positive influence in the communities it serves.
John holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Minnesota State University.
