More About Rachel Flynn
Rachel Flynn is a registered nurse and has worked in direct patient care at Mount Sinai in NYC and University of Colorado Hospital in Denver. She received her Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Minnesota and worked with healthcare startups in Washington, D.C. to improve patient outcomes and decrease cost of care.
After returning to MN, she worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN by partnering with Minnesota health systems to co-create innovative clinical programs that improved patient outcomes. Currently, Rachel is focusing on an array of opportunities from working with a mental health startup, Cadre, which offers community connection and belonging along with end-of-life doula services and education.
Rachel is excited to support Ampersand Families’ innovative programs to help kids find belonging and connection. Rachel was part of the Buddy Family program and found it to be an amazing, life-changing opportunity for both her and her match.
