Jared Dargan

Jared Dargan brings 9 years of experience working in child welfare in various roles including foster family licensing, placement matching, and multi-disciplinary team meeting facilitation. As a placement specialist, Jared had a passion and commitment to reducing the number of separated siblings in care, working to reunite siblings whenever possible. In his most recent role as a meeting facilitator, he ensured that children moving from one home to another had the necessary support and services in place for the placement transition. In all the roles Jared has worked in, he has had a focus on permanency for children in the system of care.

Jared and his wife, Morgan, along with their 2 cats, Kiki and Zuzu, recently moved from the state of Florida to Minnesota to take on a new adventure. Outside of work, Jared enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and learning new things. Coming from Florida, he is excited to learn to ski and/or snowboard in the winter.

Since working in the child welfare system, Jared’s passion and commitment to serving youth and families continues to grow and he is excited to work with Ampersand Families.
