Meet Val
Val is a sweet, bubbly teen who is eager to be adopted!
More About Val
Val enjoys spending her time doing her makeup, skateboarding, listening to rap, watching anime, and directing photo shoots. Val has been seeking more connection to her Native heritage. In the past, she has enjoyed participating in drumming circles, equine therapy, cooking healthy Indigenous foods, and focusing on the connection she has to the Earth.
A family for Val...
Val would prefer to live in an urban or suburban home with other kids and pets. Val wants families to know that it might take her a minute to warm-up to someone new, but give it some time and she will open up and become her usual bubbly self! Val’s team hopes her adoptive family will “meet her where she is at” and will “stick with it” through Val’s anxieties surrounding permanency. Val’s adoptive family will need to help her maintain close connections to her younger brother and her Native and Hispanic heritages.
