Christina Zeise (she/her) – Executive Director

Christina joined Ampersand Families as the Executive Director in January of 2022. Prior to that she was the Executive Director of the Minnesota Social Service Association (MSSA) for over eight years. Christina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Concordia College, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota, and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. She has over 20 years of experience working in the health and human service arena with specific experience in nonprofit management, county government, associations, and public policy.

Christina has a passion for systems change and was drawn to Ampersand Families for their consistent and dedicated work to call out and address the disparities within our child welfare system while working alongside the children and families trying to navigate this system.

Outside of her work at Ampersand Families, Christina is a mother of two, enjoys being outside whenever possible, enjoys hot yoga and Pilates, loves to bake, and garden, and was convinced by her eldest to watch all the Marvel movies in chronological order—and is now a huge fan.
