Meet Chris Iverson
Secretary
More About Chris Iverson
Chris is on the Ampersand Families board because “I know first hand the important work the agency does. My family was created through Ampersand Families in 2012 when I adopted my then 16-year-old daughter who at the time, was living in corporate foster care. While the landscape of need has shifted and changed since we finalized our adoption, the services offered continue to change lives, permanently and positively and I want to support that mission.”
Professionally, Chris has spent the last four decades leading technology projects that have helped businesses improve efficiencies and reduce costs through business process and technology alignment.
Chris and his husband split their time living in Minneapolis and Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. His daughter is 29 years old, married and he is a proud grandfather of two (almost three) grandchildren. In his spare time, Chris enjoys writing creative nonfiction, doing house projects and being “grandpa Chris.”
Our Leadership Value
We champion positive change and proactively advance ideas and innovations that strengthen practices, accountability and outcomes throughout the child welfare system.
