Olivia Friesen

Olivia recently joined Ampersand Families as the MyVoice Administrative Assistant. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Leadership and Intercultural Studies, she is committed to serving youth and families.

With a diverse background in event planning and organization, she has also spent time serving as a paraprofessional supporting youth. More recently, she has spent time in the classroom teaching various elementary ages. Olivia is passionate about supporting youth and helping them grow in confidence to share their stories. She recognizes that culture, diversity, and individual experiences shape each person’s unique story and makes every voice important. Olivia looks forward to advocating for change and creating spaces where youth feel heard and empowered to make a difference.

Outside of the office, you can find her hiking, traveling, and enjoying the many lakes and trails with a coffee in hand. She loves traveling and exploring food from around the world.
