Fern is often described as “intelligent”, “empathetic”, and “funny”! They are a creative person who enjoys diamond art and anime coloring sheets. When asked what her favorite thing to do was, Fern said, “sleep!” While Fern will call himself a “cat person”, he enjoys all kinds of animals, including snakes. Fern enjoys a variety of snacks foods, but their favorite cuisine is Chinese.
A family for Fern...
Fern is very open to what their future adoptive family looks like, including the number and genders of parents, where the family lives, and whether or not they would have adopted siblings (though Fern shares they would prefer if their siblings were old enough to do activities with). The right family for Fern will be LGBTQIA+-friendly and will support him unconditionally as he continues to explore his various identities. The right family for Fern will be trauma- informed, consistent, patient, and will stick with Fern through the highs and lows of her mental health and trauma work.
