Meet Rosa
Rosa is a likable, and funny young lady with a big heart.
More About Rosa
She can come off as being shy when meeting new people, however once she gets comfortable around you, she will begin to open up. Rosa is a ‘girly girl’ who also enjoys sports. She likes playing basketball, getting her hair, nails , & make-up done, watching action packed movies and going shopping—she is a ‘sneaker head.’ Rosa knows her way around the kitchen. She enjoys baking cookies. When asked, Rosa will tell you that her favorite food is enchiladas and her favorite season is autumn. She has a love for animals and stated that she would like have a pet. Rosa has the desire to go to college once she graduates high school to become a Dental Hygienist. Rosa prefers an active one parent household that lives in the metro area with no other children living in the home. She expresses that she would like to be the only child. Rosa stated that she would consider being placed in an active two parent household ONLY if they reside no more than 20-30 minutes from the metro area.
A family for Rosa...
Rosa needs a parent(s) who is willing to work with and love her through her ups and downs and have experience with children who have experienced a lot of trauma. The family would need to have an understanding of her mental health needs and barriers associated with this, especially around attachment. Rosa would prefer to live in the city versus a rural area. She would thrive in a small family setting that is structured. A family that is able to provide structure for Rosa would be very beneficial to her mental health and behavioral needs. Rosa has a relationship with her biological family so, it is important that Rosa’s prospective family will be supportive of her keeping in contact (maintaining her relationship) with her biological family and friends.
