Olivia has been a 30 Days to Family Specialist with Ampersand Families since August, 2021. Olivia has her BA in Psychology with a focus in Multicultural and Developmental Psychology from Hope College. Since graduating, she has gained experience working as a Foster Care Case Manager in Illinois and a Waiver Case Manager in Minnesota. Olivia’s background has allowed her to acknowledge and respect that every person she engages has a different perspective and needs. She is encouraged to work with an organization that is unified in and strives to meet youth and families’ unique needs.
Olivia is excited to be part of the Ampersand Family with a team that strives to maintain resources, permanency, and stability for the youth and their families. She has a passion for working with youth and families involved with the child welfare system to ensure that everyone has a place to feel safe, supported, and loved unconditionally. Olivia enjoys the anything dogs, a nice cup of iced tea, and board games with her friends.
